Description

This Pokemon was created for the Tromoa region by Puppet.
It's a water poison type pokemon based on a platypus, with further inspiration taken from philosophers like Plato, rubber duckies, soap foam, 'the fake platypus baby image', as well as atoms.
Platoams are born blind(extremely sensitive to light) inside of caves. They know nothing about the world, but are fed by the adult Platinom that raise them. They drink the poison secreted by the platinom that enter the cave from time to time. Platinoms live outside of the cave and have seen the real world. knowing that the outside world would blind them, they leave their Platoam behind in caves while the Platinom go out and contemplate the world.
Platoams use their floating bubbles to get a sense of their environment as they can not see for themselves.
Platoams are a very sought after pokemon for kids. They are very helpless and harmless, and their poison can cause children to calm down a little and help them fall asleep at night.
