This is a design drawing for the first of four large-scale color pieces I will be doing for a gallery in Covington. I used my manga/anime photo pose file for her pose and face, but the kimono design I made up on the spot. I like swans.

This is part of my subversive attempt to bring alternative religion into a small-town southern conservative gallery. The pieces will be named after the seasons, but what they represent is the aspects of the Goddess (Maiden - Spring, Warrior - Summer, Mother - Autumn, Crone - Winter). Each piece will be done with a different ethnicity. This one, obviously, is Japanese. I am planning to do the final pieces on huge sheets of illustration board. I'm insane. I am going to use a combination of water-color pencil washes and Berol Prismacolor detail.
