Description

Myrmecia pyriformis , or the bull ant, is native to eastern Australia. Known for their large size, powerful mandibles, and excellent vision, they forage alone at night and build underground nests. They are highly aggressive and possess a potent sting that can cause severe reactions. Bull ants thrive in forests, woodlands, and urban areas.
