His name is Icy. Icy is a descendant of an old clan of echidnas called the Mountain Tribe. The tribe was made during the split where each of the 4 elemental tribes (separate from Knuckles tribe) went off on separate ways to create civilizations of their own based of which element they were. Eventually, a war broke out between the Flame and Mountain Tribes, and Icy was the only survivor in his clan. He ran off where he met sonic and knuckles. Knuckles is not shipped with him, rather is a big brother figure. He lives happily with knuckles and his frens, tho he has ptsd from the warHis name is Icy.
