No point keeping this in the dark now that her new design is out in the wild! Regina Cain's redesigned alter-ego; Frenzy. It's still a parasite, but the backstory is completely different this time around.

Evolution has created some nasty creatures throughout the existence of time as we know it. One of these remarkable creatures is the unclassified hyper-evolving parasite recovered by Doctor Pawel Gorwicz and his assistant, Veronica Pyke. Under the commission of a reclusive Fenixton based industrialist. A being which seemingly existed since the first organisms of Earth spawned. For aeons, it has survived, leeching off whatever animals it can. Acquiring whatever knowledge it can to adapt to an ever-changing world. It has seen extinctions come and go yet this incredible survivor remains. However, humankind soon transformed it, becoming a weapon for those whoever came into contact with it. Whether through humanity's unquenchable thirst for knowledge and advancement or subtle suggestion by the creature itself, it has nearly brought an end to civilisation as we know it. Many of these events have been recorded as myths, legends, stories and history. Eventually, it was subdued by a being claiming to be a "God" – Wadjet – and was locked away. Now it has been reawakened. And our unlucky heroine must adapt herself to this new life ahead of her...

This design is a basis for any further forms Frenzy can transform in to. Being an adaptable creature, it can change as the user requires, typically based on whatever their imagination can conjure up. Of course, acquiring all that knowledge from previous hosts somewhat influences the parasite's forms. So Frenzy is now more of a hybrid of various prehistoric creatures. I imagine that the parasite is capable of rapidly reconstructing and breaking down its cells accordingly. The best way I can describe it is thinking how a scab forms on the human body and then being forcibly removed. Now imagine that done in a split second many times over to create more appendages or mass.
