I think I know where you got this idea. At least, I know of what it reminds me:

In one of the old Bugs Bunny 'toons, he has a book on 1000 Ways to Cook a Duck, and Daffy pulls 1000 Ways to Cook a Rabbit out of Bugs' hole as well, and they're reading off recipes, in order to sway Elmer Fudd into shooting one or the other.

Great take on a classic!
