Jonny 2x4 from Ed, Edd n Eddy is pals with a hunk of wood, right?

In the Owl House, there's this thing called a "Palisman" which is basically a sentient wood carving of an animal on top of a magic staff. Examples of this include Owlbert, the owl palisman of Eda Clawthorne, Ghost, the cat palisman of Amity Blight and there's even a chameleon for a palisman gained by Gus Porter. As of now, Luz Noceda does not have a palismen of her own but Eda was kind enough to give her some spare palisman wood for her to carve her own creature.

Since the word "Palisman" is a combo of the word "talisman" which means an object which is said to be magical and "pal" which is another word for friend, it makes me imagine that Plank was made from palisman wood, hence why Jonny is able to understand everything he says and there were times where it hints that Plank is sentient, like in "Gimme Gimme Never Ed".
