Even though Blue Angel follows whoever rules the throne of Equestria (be it Celestia or Twilight), she believes there's a mysterious unknown force of the universe who might be the true ruler.
One day, Blue helped a creature who at first became troubled, and hopeless with the world. But Blue listened and talked, to the best of her ability, comforting that creature. When the creature felt better and vowed to become a better person, Blue was transported to an unknown location, among stars. A translucent hand held her and spoke in a voice she couldn't identify as either man, woman, or child. The voice said he is happy to have a person who can comfort others and try to make them a better person, even when things look down.
He grants Blue Angel, angel wings as a sign that she is one of his followers. However, when the force of the universe returned Blue Angel back to her home, the wings didn't stay permanent. Blue discovered that they only appear as translucent, when she does her duty of comforting, protecting, and helping others.

Yes, I did include religious aspects in here because I follow my God today. He's helped me so many times and I like to sing his praises at church when I perform as a cantor.
