There were multiple ideas I had for these initial sequence, which lead to the problem of me putting this story on the backburner. The original idea were multiple Army representatives chasing after the Mushroomon, but I decided to scrap that approach because it was "too much, too soon". A similar case occurs with Blossomon, who originally was going to be a totally different Digimon for another Army. I decided to "devolve" the intended Digimon to Blossomon (mostly because I wanted to go with something easier to draw for now) and re-explore the original idea later on...!

The little toothy Digimon seen here is one I made up on the spot called "Chompmon". He was sort of considered to be an In-Training stage version of Hadromon, though he could be an acorn for many Dinosaur/Dragon Digimon. Chompmon is, however, the son of the Hadromon being bullied by Blossomon and the SnowBotamon is his little sister.

The scene with Shoutmon against the moon is recreated from the original panel seen on the "promo".
