SCP-049 The Plague Doctor by BlueStrike01 on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

SCP-049 is a human appearance with the simulair look of a medieval plague doctor
from the 16th century. His black clothing and ceramic mask is part of his body
because its actually the same material as his muscle tissue.
All though he also never sleeps or eat and his age is still questionable, X-rays
shows he does have a regular human skeleton. SCP-049 is able to speak in English
or mediƫval French and is generally cooperative with the SCP Foundation.

SCP-049 seems easily irritated or agressive when talking about the
subject he calls the Pestilance. The exact nature of this Pestilence is currently unknown
but he claims that he can sense it in any human and creature.
Which in his words is his duty in life to save the world from it.

When being alone, SCP-049 will attempt to kill the
victim by a touch that will quickly shut the heart down.
SCP-049 shows sometimes frustration or remorse after his killing.
After his killing he will usually starts a surgery on the corpse for days
with a small bag with operation tools he carries at all times.
As result, victims sometimes reanimate into empty zombies without any signs of personal knowlegde or memories.
Despite this they turn out to be very agressive in human public.
SCP-049 keeps explaining they failed the process but often remarks the victim has been cured.

SCP-049 is contained in a standard human cell.
While SCP-049 is generally cooperative with some SCP members, outburst or changes in
behaviour have to be stopped with elevated force. During these outbursts, no SCP member is allowed to enter in his containment
To facilitate SCP-049, hes allowed to get a corpse of a deceased animal once every 2 weeks for study.
Every reanimated corpse by SCP-049 has to be removed from his cell and incinerated.
And for now on, any requests for other human subjects are to be denied
