Tom Bombadil, the merry wanderer of the woods, was known far and wide for his joyful songs and boundless energy. Every morning, he would set out from his cozy house, his long red beard flowing in the breeze, his blue robe billowing as he walked. With his trusty staff in hand and a woven basket for gathering treasures of the forest, Tom was a familiar and beloved sight in the Old Forest.
One day, as the sun's first light painted the forest in hues of gold, Tom noticed a peculiar stirring among the trees.
