Varan, White Wind Monster

Every now & then, there will be an animal whose colors differ from their normal kin. The most well known color mutations are melanistic- being completely black- & albinistic- being completely white. A lesser known version of the latter is leucistic, which is a result of partial color loss. This is predominantly the case with one of the most obscure Kaiju on record- Obakesaurus omniugoki. “All movement Ghost Lizard.” Sometimes known as Baradagi by mountain villagers in Japan, but more commonly known as Varan. At first glance, Varan’s common name may suggest he’s a member of the Varanids. Analysis of shed skin reveals him to be a member of the Agamid family of lizards. In fact, the Flizards discovered on Skull Island are his closest relatives. This was also confirmed by a dwarf Varan located in a large swamp on the island. Other members of his kind were found in the Hollow Earth. But more interestingly, it revealed that the Varan located in the Tohoku region of Japan is a mutant among
