A group of travelers end up passing through a desert naga town while on their way through the desert. desert naga towns and cities always have some sort of pool or oasis, so travelers often try to sneak in and grab some water for themselves. The problem is desert naga aren't extremely friendly. Usually they'll ignore human-sized creatures because a human to a desert naga is like what a bug is to a human. But the giant in their group might end up skewered and roasted if she is spotted.

The normal naga in the traveler's group is trying to persuade her companions to simply reason with the desert nagas because she's like a "cousin" to them (not in a literal sense). But they don't want to take that chance.

I was prepared to render this in reality, but there were a bit too many figures (the desert naga is really 3 figures + the tiny figures, so Reality was sputtering to start up) and the scene uses a skydome, which looks nice, but in LuxRender (reality) skydomes block out all light sources. So I settled for a normal render.
