A rose is a flower of beauty, shining out in radiant splendour; basking in the lazy days of summer; bobbing gracefully in the evening breeze and sitting bejewelled after a shower of rain. It is tougher than it delicate appearance would suggest and can withstand freezing temperatures, persisting in blooming into the frost coated days of December.
