As I was posting this, I realized that it made me think of the animal companions in the Golden Compass universe.

Every human has a Daemon, or a Pantalaimon. It's essentially an extension of their soul that takes an animal form. I'm sorry to say that I never finished reading the books or the TV show but I really want to now ^ ^

These animal crossover suggestions came from two of my besties Whispers-Gargoyle suggested Spirit and Jasmine and ADONOVAN94 suggested Simba and Ariel. I couldn't pass up the chance to add Belle and the Great Prince into the mix just for good measure.

If you could choose your Daemon, what animal would it be?
Mine would either be an elk or a goat
