Description

Just a mean green mother from outer space!
It's "Twooie" (Audrey II) from the hilarious comedy/musical, Little Shop of Horrors. This plant was freaking awesome. Not only was it the best animatronics job ever in my opinion (the puppet looks like it's actually real. It's movement is so convincing) but this bastard could SING. Naturally, though, when you have the voice of Levi Stubbs, front man for the Four Tops (what a great band). The finale song from which this picture is named is quite possibly the most badass showtune ever. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to ever see this amazing film in it's entirety until very recently, but I instantly loved it. Twooie was just such an awesome conceptm so many people ripped it off afterwards. Enjoy.

It's funny how much energy the character has, despite being stationary. And that's hard to depict in still art, but it shines through here. It looks like we're mid-song.
