The Lady and the Unicorn by Brink-maniac on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

Against popular belief, I can draw more than faces.

I'm just not very good at it.

Inspired by a) The historical fiction book by Tracy Chevalier, and b) the actual 15th century tapestries. The six tapestries depict the stages of the seduction of a unicorn by a group of women. They're definitely worth a look into.

PLEASE CRITIQUE ME I SUCK AT BACKGROUNDS.

More specifically (for #Improvement-Club) please critique on lighting, perspective, colors, depth, etc as well as general composition. If you could point out specifics, that would be awesome. Because I get the general idea of how colors change with depth and how atmosphere work and blahh so on but I struggled applying it.

Ummm Thanks for looking!

Love yall!
