Description

A little bit of the Gwen 10 and Anodite Ben timeline.

Like Gwen, Ben managed to gain possession of one of Hex’s charms. Instead of the Charm of Luck, though, he ended up with the Charm of Telekinesis and named himself ‘Impact’. Also, unlike how Gwen took all of the charms and destroyed them, Ben instead decided to keep all of them so that he could actually be useful in helping deal with trouble.

His possession of the charms resulted in his own magical potential unlocking a lot quicker, as well as the energy of the charms managing to seep in and be absorbed by his own body and, at the moment, dormant Anodite heritage. When having to eventually save Gwen from Vilgax, Ben’s own adrenaline combined with his own magic and the energy of the charms to ‘overcharge’ him and force his Anodite Spark to the surface.

Anodites are beings of pure magic and energy that hail from one of the many realm of magic. They are the very essence of magic and life energy given form. Anodites will often leave the realm to explore, leading to some members enjoying the ‘normal realms’ they end up in so much that they end up settling down. This sometimes leads to them establishing themselves on various planets and developing colonies of their own.

Anodites, by their very nature, are not fully defined by their physical bodies, as they are instead the very essence of their own mind and magic that has coalesced into a form. Their bodies are malleable, capable of winding, stretching, and even expanding in their shape. If they end up with a limb cut off, or their head is destroyed, they can easily reform these parts or reattach them. As it is their consciousness itself that guides their essence.

Anodites can also come in a variety of other hues, and are even capable of shifting their own color if they desire. Very young Anodites, however, can run into an issue where inexperience can lead to them changing colors based upon their emotion and mood. This can make it very easy to understand how they are feeling, even if they try to hide it.

Ben’s transformation into his Anodite self has left him somewhat stuck. His inexperience with magic, young age, and lack of understanding has made it hard for him to properly reform a human guise and keep it up for an extended period. As such, he has to mostly rely on using an ID Mask that Max grabbed from the Plumber Base. It also doesn’t help that when trying to shift back to human, he seems to sometimes end up a girl.

At the very least, being an energy being is super cool!

A lot of the time in universes where Ben doesn't receive the Omnitrix let's just say that his mental health takes a downward spiral it seems. It really seems like the Omnitrix gave him the Boost to keep his mental health rather strong. For example no watch been seem to be rather timid and meek, afraid that he would screw up and wondering why he was brought by Professor Paradox to help stop the destruction of the Omniverse. He also apparently never develops is the spark.
