Gorruk, the Destroyer by BuckBrah on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

In the mythology of the Northern Gor, there is a deity known as Gorruk (Gor King) the Destroyer, a god of absolute power and savagery that even the fiercest Gor worship with fear and reverence. Gorruk is depicted as a massive, horned being, standing over twenty feet tall with rippling muscles and skin as hard as steel. His eyes glow with an otherworldly, fiery light, and his mouth is filled with razor-sharp teeth. He wields a giant, blood-stained axe in one hand and a whip made of twisted barbed wire in the other. According to Gorish legend, Gorruk was once a mortal Mir who sought power and glory above all else. He made a pact with dark forces that transformed him into a god of unparalleled strength and ferocity. He delights in destruction, revels in chaos, and demands that his followers spread his will across the land. The Gor believe that Gorruk watches over them, granting them the power to overcome their enemies and revel in the spoils of war. They also believe that he is a god of blood and sacrifice, who demands that his followers offer up the flesh and blood of their enemies as tribute.
