In the great forest there are two distinct territories, the outer ring, populated by the members of the Coven, a relatively safe area plentiful in resources, and the center, which no one, not even the members of the Coven, are allowed to enter, it is the territory of the forests true ruler, the undisputed king Diamante. Diamante is rather mysterious, rarely appearing before anyone outside of his territory, no one even knows what he actually is, a human, a demon, a nature spirit, or something else entirely, what is known is he possesses great power that far exceeds even the strongest mages in the Coven, he is respected by them and he allows them to live in his forest, so long as they obey his rules, they have maintained this cohabitation for many years, rarely ever breaking it. Diamante’s territory is populated by much denser forest and much more dangerous species, but beyond them there is a group who serve directly under Diamante, a group known as the Links, these are not animals but
