This is definitely a stepped-up piece of art from Butlova.

He has never bared issue with facial expressions and here is no exception. Giving the viewer a chance to see the character's reaction is always welcome and while he didn't have to add this, it's little nuances like these that steps his artwork up in even the most simplistic of concepts.

As far as the art itself, the line work is quite solid, the choice of color is spot on, and the word effects on the outer edges adds to it's atmosphere. Perhaps a tad nit-picky, and I do so enjoy the level of polish on the pants, I would have enjoyed seeing some form of small design in them. These are girl pants (I believe), but perhaps this was done intentionally so as to harken back to the days of the PS1.

All in all, a fine piece of work. I had to ding you a bit on originality, but it definitely holds its own as a piece brought to us by the talented "Butlova". Continue doing what you love because we love what you do.
