Here I have biggest set of the 2021 wave of Lego Harry Potter: Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets.

I got it on Saturday after saving some work money, and got it at Target after seeing it a week earlier. There was 3 of them at the time, and 2 days ago I decided to get it, as I wasn’t sure how much longer it was going to be out. And it was certainly worth the wait.

I got it at $140, has 1,176 pieces. I started building it this morning as it was a busy weekend. Includes 11 minifigs: Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Colin Creevey, Luna Lovegood, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Albus Dumbledore, Aurora Sinistra, Gilderoy Lockhart, Nearly Headless Nick, Tom Riddle, and 20th Anniversary Lord Voldemort. 2 Cornish Pixies, the Sorting Hat, the Sword of Gryffindor, 6 magic card pieces, and, of course, the crown jewel of the set, the monstrous Basilisk.

I really love how they designed the Basilisk, especially the head, I bet that it can be reused for future Lego dragon figures.

The figure of Headless Nick glows in the dark, along to a few other pieces.

Of the Harry Potter films, the Chamber of Secrets is favorite, when I was younger, the Ford Angelia was my favorite moment in the film. This set happens to be the first Harry Potter set I got since the 2011 Hogwarts Express set over 10 years ago. While finishing the last section of the build, the rock section that slides out, one piece was strangely missing, but don’t worry, I managed to improvise with something else.

When it comes to collecting, I’m one of those specifically interested types. Everyone has their own way of collecting.

Happy 20th Anniversary to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. 🎂 🐍 🪄
