Woo! DERPY HOOVES!!

Yeah, another pony picture. (And if you look closely, the stamp is a Derpy stamp. ;D) Silly Derpy. I don't even think that a 40c stamp is enough to send you anywhere~! XD

OKAY, SO HERE'S THE STORY OF HOW THINGS HAVE BEEN...

I needed to practice drawing ponies considering I'm doing commissions now, but what to draw? I don't really get ANY drawing ideas that ever involve ponies, so what do I do? WELL, SO YOU SEE... While watching Season 2 Episode 4, I saw Derpy again and realized that it really does make me excited to see Derpy. She's the only pony that I'm ever excited to see, and is probably my favorite for that reason. I've never seen girl characters that I'm a fan of except for Toff (or Touff or Touffffffffgh or howeveryou spell her name) from Avatar The Last Airbender, but even then I might have liked Zuko more. Hah, OH WELL. There's a first time for everything. Well... Maybe not everything, but for a lot of things.

(For my friends who read the whole, 'I was watching season 2 episode 4' sentence and thinking, "Wow, so you REALLY watch My Little Pony?" Well my answer is, I gotta say that it's not a bad show, but still, I don't go around fanning over it or anything.It's just that my brother's a brony and so it's hard to get away from it... It's a stress relieving show though, and I do end up going out of my way every now and then to watch the new season 2 episodes.)

ANYWAY. So I was taking that bit of Derpy excitement and thinking, "HAHA. FINALLY I HAVE A GOOD EMOTION I CAN WORK WITH." And thus I was able to think of a picture or two starring none other than Derpy herself.

It turns out, this proved to be great practice for me! I drew two Derpy pictures today, and failed about 3 times with other pictures on the back of a piece of paper. Still, I ended up getting the hang of drawing pony 3/4 face views. ;D Which was pretty hard in the beginning.
I also was beginning to get the hang of the back of the pony's head (yeah, the back of an animal's head for 3/4 views are usually strangely hard for me... They turn out too round or too flat...) and of course I got the hang of how to draw Derpy. ;D

I looked at a reference a little for this picture, but with the other picture I drew, I had NO reference... AND IT CAME OUT FINE. ;D Not professional, but it went great. The only real reference I had was for the wings... I'm proud of myself. ;D

OKAY. So I might digitally color the other Derpy picture tonight, but I might not. It all depends on what I really wanna do tonight~. I might just end up drawing that other icon base tonight. XD Who knows?

Anywho, enjoy, everyone~! (Hey look! I didn't end the paragraph with 'hope you guys like it' this time! XD)
