Backstory: Eculius was left abandoned by his family because of his fascinating with reading more than being around people. When The Mentor found him, Eculius was sitting in his personal library at home and when asked where his family was, he simple replied “they left”. The Mentor, after learning more from the townsfolk’s, took him in and allowed him to study in the Grand Library. So far, The Mentor is the only one Eculius talks to, mainly because he was giving more books to study, but also because he was able to learn more magic. He sees The Mentor as a father figure. He also doesn’t mind talking to Brier because she brings him food and doesn’t talk to him much when he’s reading.
