Description

Well here is my latest manipulation. I'm getting much better at cutting and shading, and I also think I'm starting to get a hang for manes and tails (even if they're not perfect). If you look closely you can tell that the feathers aren't as well done as the mane and tail, because I started with them first (sure sign of progress). I also (finally) found out the difference between the pencil and the paintbrush, when I was almost finished with the feathers so I stopped using the pencil (the paintbrush has a softer appearance.) I'm happy with this one, and I feel good about my progress this time. This is a Christmas present for my sister.
Edit: Fixed a stray mane shadow, corrected smudge on inside back leg, and blurred the shadow some more.
Time: Around 15 hours?

Software: GIMP 2.6 with a mouse
