This is me.

IGNORE THE LONG COMMENTS AND JUST LOOK AT THE PRETTY PICTURE OF BRO~

That. Is me.
In my incomplete yet still horribly epic Bro Strider Cosplay.
And if you look into my hand, you will see a smuppet.
Sparticus Robert Downey Jr. is his name.

DAMN that spandex was either HOT or COLD. 😵 When I was inside, I got too hot. When I was outside for too long, I got too cold. :XD:
Totally. Worth it.

Quesion: Could I see?
Vaguely. Enough to swagger around okay on my own, but I usually needed a friends nearby in case my hair (real or wig) got in the way. And if I had my shades on? Forget it. Couldn't see nada.

How is it incomplete? Looks good to me!
Glad you asked! See, those aren't his actual shades; I gotta make them myself, or ask Nami to make them. He's also supposed to wear gray sneakers, but I wear hooker heels to make me taller than Dave. I'd like to get a more accurate belt, possibly some tighter hand gloves, and a compression top if I can. I was going to style the wig, but it's so soft and plush I don't want to ruin it. Also, I was told it looked fine without styling, so I didn't want to ruin it.

So how was it traveling around?
Downside: I couldn't eat or drink without taking the glasses, hat, wig, and hood off. And everytime I went to put it back on, it would catch on my hair a bit.
I obviously couldn't see very well, so I missed out on a good deal of the con.
I didn't have to, thankfully, but I couldn't go to the bathroom by myself; I'd need someone to help me take everything off, including the spandex, and then put everthing back on.
It was hot-and-cold, and I had to wear my sunglasses on my nose to see, so I have a very sore nose now.
I bumped around and tripped a lot.
Upside: I felt like I had the ability to do things that I couldn't in normal costumes. Without a face, no one can recognize you. It was pretty owesome. I got a boost of confidence that day, and acted upon it thusly.
Everyone really seemed to like me! ^_^ Whether they knew the cosplay or not, people got a kick out of seeing someone in all white making an idiot of themself, swaggering around.
I had the excuse not to talk so much; good, because it was a bit muffled when I did. :XD:
I got to just have a blast and look like one of those owesome people.
Normally, I have a derpy smile on my face when I do stuff like this. But thanks to the suit, no one could see it. :la: So I felt even more owesome.
I did some owesome stuff I wouldn't have before.
Since it was a con, people understood if I stumbled into them.
I got to flail my arms out madly in front of me to find out where I was. People laughed.
I had a guide dog. Well, okay, it was Nami, but she got me left and right.

I feel like the pros outweigh the cons, and I can't WAIT for the next Homestuck meet-up to take more pictures of me in it. :la:
Anime Booooooooostooooooon~ *whines* I want my people back. 😵

But anyways.

I hope I'm as remembered this year as I was last year. :la:

And if anyone sees any videos of pictures with me in it, could you please send? :la: I want.
Because, unfortunately, this was the only picture of me I got. :(

Quick Note: I generally go by the gender of the cosplay, not the cosplayer.
