Ok, I SHOULD be sleeping, instead I'm going to share with everyone my newest commission!

I've been eyeing isikol's art for a long time. It's just gorgeous. I really like how he does energy effects (Supergirl's heat vision, lightning, etc). All well done. This might be my favorite picture of Supergirl using her heat vision:

I really love how his work using 3D tools mixed with great use of Photoshop post work. He often makes images that you'd have no idea that he posed them with poser first. When there are a sea of people who just pose and render things, all his work has an unique feel to it, and there is a wide variety of it. Just love all of it. (Not that there is anything wrong with people who pose things in 3D and post art, it's all art, just using different tools. Just that his use of all the tools puts him in his own category of awesome.)

Anyway, back to the image. I've been in a commissioning slump, not posting at my previous furious rate. But, I think I've been having a lot of awesome luck with the images that I've been getting back lately. And this is no exception.

First the backgrounds are awesome, I like the bright happy vibe here. I wanted a beach scene, but more than She-Hulk lying on the beach, so used some famous shots of her lifting on the beach, as some inspiration. Though Must say, this is all :isikol after the setup. I tossed out some ideas and let him run with it. And he knocked all the elements I wanted out of the park.

And the turtle makes his return. ;-)

I love her build here. And her hair! Just lovely. I also love the nice curve on the bar. This is probably a light warm-up for her, but like all the massive weights that she is casually lifting.

Anyway, tell me what you think of it. I love all the comments. I'll post a link to isikol's profile when he posts it, appreciate if you went over there and gave him your comments too. Really, a sentence or two on some art you like really does make an artist's day. ;-)

isikol was nice and easy to work with. He made sure that I knew what I wanted and sent me a pre-render, that he then turned into this with his mastery. Please go wander through his gallery, it's really worth the time. He's also taking commissions now, so if you like his work, make sure to hit him up for something!
