Marcus is Elena's older brother, though the two are only apart by a few years in age. He is a master of capoeira and was raised under his father's guidance. He is expected to succeed Jafari eventually as the head of the family.

His favorite past time are idolizing Dee Jay secretly, sparring with his sister Elena - even when she is marked as a Harem mate of Shinji Ikari - or training Sheva Almer in Capoeira.
