Appearance > Echis is a mostly tan dragon with black-rimmed scales and black underside to her wings, where ripples of gold run along them. There are small black stars by her eyes and across her scales, and black streaks run across the end of her tail. The back of her wings have a diamond pattern and there are sun sigils on each side. She has bony limbs, which are extremely prominent in her talons. Her arms and legs are long and slender, matching her serpentine body and long tail. Her sail, mostly brown, has streaks of gold and matching tips on the ends and on her dark horns. Her tail ends in a typical SandWing barb, filled with potent venom. The plates along the barb are black, flecked with gold stars, as is the sail there, which is almost feather-like in texture. She is lanky and slender, with a thin build. She’s tall, but not unnaturally so.

Scars: most are hidden by her gloves and boots, and the largest scar is on her right back leg. (received these scars from fighting Beetle)

Accessories: She adorns her ears with crow feather earrings lined in gold, and a smaller star earring, paired with golden horn bands. She wears a brown shawl/cloak with thin leather shoulder guards, lined with gold diamond patterns. She wears a pair of clawless gloves with thick soles as protection, and wears sturdy leather boots on her back legs. The start of her tail is covered in a thin leather tail guard with gold diamond patterns, which is versatile and still allows her to move freely. She wears a few tail bracelets and bands, as well as a tail satchel.

PARENTS >

>> Tawny Owl (Owl) - hmmmmm. Troubled is probably the best way to describe Echis’ relationship with her mother. There are times when she makes her want to scream and others where she wants to hole up out of her sight. She doesn’t think she hates her. Ultimately, Echis will always love her mother, no matter what Owl does or says to her. But there is always a whisper of everything Owl has ever yelled at her. She will never forget or forgive her for that. Screaming, shouting, words forever imprinted in her mind. There’s no dragon Echis is more afraid of than Tawny Owl.

>> Void -

Echis loves her father a lot, and the two spend a lot of time together. Void worries for Echis' future, having been the one to give her the Little Bird prophecy. He cares very much for his only dragonet, protective and concerned for her safety. But he also has his faults–Echis knows he’s not a good dragon either. But the good outweighs the bad, at least for now. She has unconditional love for him.

>> Agave - Agave is Echis' cousin, twin brother to Saguaro. He’s a drummer and plays other ethnic SandWing percussion instruments. He’s a couple years older than Echis, and the two have a sibling-like relationship. He ruffles her sail a lot. Agave often teases that Echis prefers him over the two to make his sister jealous, and Echis plays along on both sides. They both care for and love each other a lot.
