Chalice does appear in the "Better Off" comic. She and Kettle share a long history but their relationship is...unfriendly. Which is a shame because the two used to be very close. Chalice doesn't like Kettle for many reasons. One of the reasons is what turned her into a ghost and the other reason is Kettle's involvement with the Devil.

She likes the Cup Bros very much. Despite their terrible decision of going to the casino, she couldn't help but see them as children and therefore innocent. After all, it's not their fault that Kettle has said very little to nothing about the casino, the Devil or even Chalice. Heck Kettle doesn't tell the boys much about himself. Cuphead and Mugman trust and love Elder Kettle that they never questioned him. Seeing how the Cup Bros blindly trusts Kettle annoys Chalice because she trusted Kettle too, and look what became of her.
