you know his right shoulder was a large part of the reason I asked for critique. I was just telling my roomate that I hate when I look at a picture KNOW something bothers me, not know why, and then have everyone say "I dont see anything wrong with it"

^^; the right shoulder has been bothering me a lot too. But I cant quite pinpoint whats wrong with it mentally and I know if I just haul off to color it I'll regret it. If you can figure it out redlines would be much loved <3

Anyway yeah he's a guy but he is one of my girliest guys. (and also immensely narcissistic) Which probably doesnt suit the pose at all haha. Heaven forbid he do anything that might lead to wounds or scars.

CRITIQUE ME PLEASE

thank you for all your advice. Its obvious you put a lot of thought into it and its much appreciated. I did the sketch of the pose in a rather fast paced amoount of time not really getting a chance to fix and tweak things as I was mostly trying to get the idea on paper before it left my head and I was tired, but even so action and perspective are by far NOT my strong points. Which was why I want to eventually get this puppy to look nice.

[link] <---thats the character in the picture to give you an idea what the wings will (eventually) be so no its not going to be plain feathered wings.

As for the suggestions on shoulders the more I look at them the more they bother me (or rather the lack there of especially on callistus' right arm) Any redline you can offer me would make me incredibly happy as well

CRITIQUE ME PLEASE

light and shadow UPDATE 2

Thank you hon. I'm REALLY proud of it too. And while I still know I have a lot to learn in this style I wont be so afraid to try it in the future. It feels really good to branch out from time to time.

Also thank you for concentrating more on the boy (since he was the one I drew) I agree about the lip now that you mention it. I've actually done this in the past too without meaning to and hated it then haha. So its a shame I made the mistake again. I like to call them...duck lips. I dont know why.

XD defined noses work in soft, not so much in cel. I'm hoping eventually my style will be somewhere halfway between my soft cel and this. *scratches head* I dont know how its going to happen yet though haha.

Anyway thank you for the honest critique.
