Description

I wanted to do something different today, so I went through my file of sketches and found this one of Sylvie, drawn first in early 2009. She required only a very few minor adjustments and then a quick coloring. I used the opportunity to experiment with my brushes in Sai as well as a limited palette and dramatic shading (well, dramatic for ME).

Originally, the white parts were going to be blue; I decided against it when I hid the blue layer to clean up the reds and liked the clean effect.

I want her hat.

ETA: critiques are encouraged but not necessarily for this pic; I'd like to know what I could do on future images. This one is pretty much done.
