(Kind of) celebrating the Liberty plush I bought recently.

For the record, I'm not a Paw Patrol fan (...yet).

But I do like Liberty.

Rant of the Day:

I thought it was a genius concept but I've also never done rain before so idk how well it turned out.

As you might be able to imagine, this piece had the EXACT SAME problem as the last one: Screen space. I talked last time about how hard it is to have things in the foreground because of how much screen space they can take up. It was fine in the beginning, and then once it came time to add the rain and reflection effects over the window, things got very clunky very fast. I'm still pretty good at using grayscale and I think that's doing the heavy lifting in making Liberty as visible as possible. I could've just not had the rain and had the picture look cleaner, but the rain was such an important aspect of the story for this picture.
