One day, Amy Rose was taking a walk to Sonic's house. She thought, "Time to see Sonikku. I wonder if he's going to be excited to see me." Just then, a blast was heard and a laser beam shot straight at her. She turned around and said, "Huh?" A voice yelled out, "Amy, look out!" That voice belonged to Knuckles the Echdina. He scooped up Amy in his arms and they both got away from the laser. They both saw a carrier with Dr. Eggman in it. Amy said, "It's Eggman! What does he want now?!" Eggman said, "Blast you, Knuckles! I was supposed to shoot her!" Knuckles said, "Not when I'm around. Bring it, Egghead!" Amy watched as the two of them battled each other. She thought, "Knuckles saved me. I wish Sonic would've done the same. I know Knuckles is my friend but I have a feeling that he has feelings for me." She then started to smile and blush and said, "I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I got myself a new boyfriend!"
