Description

Cyrano was a kind of musketeer, famous because of his fantasy as a poet and skills as a swordsman.
He was desperatly in love with Rossana, but she didn't know it and he didn't want her to know it because he was famous also for another feature: his giant nose.
When Rossana fell in love with a gorgeous young man who was a Musketeer too, Cyrano accepted to look after him. Yet, Rossana had never told with the guy, Cristiano, who was a poor fool (even if so good-looking) and Cyrano knew that Rossana's love would have disappeared if she had known Cristiano was incapable of poetry.
So Cyrano decided he would teach Cristiano the words Rossana wanted to hear and started writing her appassionate letters pretending to be Cristiano.
A war broke out and the musketeers were sent there. Cristiano understood Cyrano loved Rossana and said he would preferred to be left than ruining Cyrano's life, Rossana had to choose between them. But Cristiano died and Cyrano refused to tell the truth to Rossana.
Some years after, Cyrano was killed by his numerous enemies and Rossana, at his bedside, discovered she had loved a man only but she had lost him twice.

Cyrano de Bergerac is a plot written by Edmond Rostand.
Domenico Modugno acted as Cyrano in the namesake musical in Italy.
