ABC Halloween Art Challenge: S - Spider by CoolCSD1986 on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

Here is a picture that I did as part of my ABC Halloween art challenge project that I am able to do for this year, which is a picture of my original character, Trixie The Halloween Kitty, hanging out on a spider web with a large spider standing next to her. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to work on a set of pictures that I would be doing as part of an art challenge project that I would be able to do for Halloween for this year, in which I would be drawing pictures of Trixie interacting with or even dressing up as various things relating to Halloween that I would be posting throughout the month of October, and I was able to draw a picture that involves Trixie interacting with a spider in some way, especially since spiders are yet another type of living creature that are often affiliated with Halloween, but I wasn't able to think of anything creative that would involve smaller-sized spiders, so I decided to draw something that would also be based around the type of magic that Trixie is able to use for such an ocassion. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw Trixie relaxing on a large spider web like a hammock, which she's able to do by using her magic to make herself shrink down to size, and the web is also occupied by an orange spider that made it, though Trixie doesn't seem to be bothered at all by the spider, knowing that it is actually pretty harmless towards her. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a brown wooded texture for the wall in the background. The picture turned out quite nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
