Here is my Lego Minifigure of the Geoffrey Beevers version of The Master.
Complete with:
Hooded long sleeve robe
The Masters Staser gun from The Deadly Assassin.
And his Tardis as it appears at the end of The Keeper of Traken disguised as a Grandfather Clock.
The 13th incarnation of The Master was monstrous! But can you blame him? Horribly disfigured in a fire started by... Well that's complicated. Burned, decaying, in constant agony and very very slowly dying. He spent the rest of this, his last life trying to find a way to cheat the ultimate fate. Partial revivifications, attempted transfers of Timelord lives, stolen bodies of lesser beings, even going as far as to ingest a Deathworm Morphant to name only a few of his attempted Lazarus plots. Yet alas eventual all would fail and fall apart, degenerating him back into this, broken, pain riddled husk, determined to endure and try again.
The Master has always been cruel, malevolent and gleefully tyrannical but it was what this incarnation suffered through for centuries, forced to linger in anguish tormented by never ending pain unable to regenerate, unable to rest and unwilling to die, that finally sent him spiraling down the path of madness. A character trait that now grows more dominant with every passing incarnation, because yes The 13th Master did finally succeed in cheating his ultimate fate and regenerated into a new body, at last! How did he do it?... Well that's complicated.
