From scenes of violence, [link] , to something a whole lot warmer.

This is Aerie, the blonde wingless winged Elf (Avariel), and Imoen, the Daughter of Bhaal (ex-God of Murder), from the PC RPG 'Baldur's Gate 2'.

Both characters have quite warm, affectionate and at times rather childlike personalities. Although while Imoen is a bit rebellious and something of a mischief maker, Aerie is generally much more quiet and introspective. The potential for a close and interesting friendship is unmistakable.
