would’ve derailed the background more but I have,, things to do,, AAA stress.
Here’s the required writing:
I don’t think humans are good. In fact, I think the opposite. They’re smelly, they’re mean, they destroy things, they make loud noises, many many horrible things. Even worse, they’ve been taking away my friends lately, and I don’t know if they’re coming back.
I’ve come up with a simple solution that deals with humans. Well, truly simple they aren’t, but they’re simple enough compared to some of the things I’ve worked up in my mind. I think a lot, even if I don’t look it. Anyway, the most simple, quickest way to explain my plan is this; Hide. Hide far far away from them, in the smallest, safest, coziest places you can.
If you can’t hide, you run.You run fast, you run hard, you run even when you think you’ll break your legs. I thought I would’ve just yesterday when I was doing a big zoomie across the road, as the concrete is much harder than the sand and dirt. Once you’re done running, to the last leap your lungs can handle, you hide. Afterwards, you run again. Hide, run, run, run, hide, repeat.
My most recent experience with this method was today. I had been sleeping under a tree, when I heard a dangerous, bad, human noise. I couldn’t tell what it was. It wasn’t nearly as bad as the boom I heard a few sunrises before, but it was still horrible.
I ran, making sure to go the opposite direction of the noise. I ran and ran and ran, over the train tracks, around the bushes, under the shed, through the tall grass.
A bug of some sort latched onto me from in the grass, which made me run even faster from the fear and pinching pain.
I hid by the river, where I am now. I’ve never seen humans drink from here, so I believe I should be fine. There’s no way of being sure, unfortunately.
I’ll be sure to drink and rest, as I must run again soon.
