Riboo's musing: I always found Gladion's tics a bit interesting, more in that I feel like they're not natural tics of his and that they're mostly being put on for show or perhaps its just that he feels things a bit more extremely than some people. He always read to me as sheltered, introverted yet determined and hard working with focus in one area (being to get Null stronger and fuck most everything else) So I think because of these qualities its left him a bit socially stunted and his appearance always read to me as a byproduct of his mother's smothering and him wanting to push out and create something that just opposes that in every manner conceivable from the choice of black to keeping his clothing torn and somewhat unkempt, something his mother would never allow him or Lillie to wear in a million years.

So in short: Interacting with people is hard
