This is the main character from my "Made of flesh/Made of iron" book

Age: first appearence - 24, main storyline - 32
Hair: light brown
Eyes (in fact, Ray has only left eye): brown
Occupation: thief, next - Ghelite officer, next - Kangee-you kondakterre, and finally - king of Meerinia
Ray is brave, strong, honest, selfless, cheerful, sometimes rude and angry, but from the other side - kind and gentle. Captain van Oggenberg is not sophisticated at all, sometimes he swears too much, and loves being nude whenever possible.
Scars: Ray has cross shaped scar over his left nipple, long scar across his left hand and miltiple scars on his back
Relationship: in love (next married) with Alexandra
Best friends:Dr. Vita Rovenski , Herman Kowalski
Ray was a thief untill his 18, but then commander Herman Kowalski discovered Ray`s warrior`s talent and proposed to join Ghelite (military unit that escorts zeppelins). Actually, Kowalski family watched Ray since day he was born... for some reasons. Ray is not quite tall - just 169 cm, he has long nose and the messy hair. He is extraordinary strong, fast and slick, and almost always is in rude health. Ray is cheerful, full of life, and he was renowned womanizer (and good lover too! he`s a little bit fixated on sex) Van Oggenberg turned out to be incredibly swift, dexterous, strong and his reaction rate was truly amazing! Besides, Ray was remarkably robust and quickly recovered from wounds of any kind. His kind heart and cheerful spirit made him everybody’s favorite. His slovenliness, lack of education, straight-forwardness and excessive affection for women were easily forgiven…
Ray served Ghelite for 5 years, and was quite happy. But then Ray`s first love Pauline Kovrovich and his teacher and friend Herman Kovalski died in Serpent bridge battle. Ray lost his right eye, got serious injury and was offically declared dead. But captain van Oggenberg survived and decieded to revenge. But he had to become another person. Ray changed his name to Christian Blackthorne and joined Kangee-yon (what is Kangee-yon - P0008eng). Ray became the kondakterre (elite officer) and got special device implanted right inside his thorax. This device changed his blood, what made him stronger, faster and hardier than usual man. But there was some side effect - full reduction of feelings and emotions. In fact Ray/Christian was living battle machine for 8 years. But then he met Andrjey, Sheeya and his frends (and of course, Alexandra). She saved his life and warmed his heart. But Ray didn`t want to let his feelings out, because he was sure, that he`s going to die in upcoming battle.
But it`s not so easy - to kill Ray van Oggenberg! He lost his right arm up to shoulder, but survived and finally got his gentle pretty girl
(And what about Ray`s arm - he`ll get the new one in time. Science!)
