Ryder ran off and stumbled into Terra Cave, inside the Creeping Forest. While he was in there, a pack of Pawniard attacked him, targeting him as their prey. YES, Pawniard. I'm sick of seeing so many Sneasels.

Also, when Ryder mentions Merlot and Estoc, he's referring to his previous missions.
