"Hope Dies Last" - even in the hardest times, when it seems, that there is no way out, there is still a way to survive.

This is my contest entry for =LoneWolfPhotography's contest.
Not only a contest entry, this is also dedicated to him, for being such a good friend of mine. And also because, this is his idea!

This image pictures a herd of wild horses, trapped by the wolves in a dark forest. There is no way to escape for the horses, but hope always dies last. Magnificent stallion is protecting the herd. Wolves are scared, as they know, that their tiniest mistake can lead to death. Wolves are gathering towards their pray... Slowly... But there is a lihgt. Even in such a dark place there is a light, which guides the way to survival. A lonely white pigeon flies towards the horses, carrying a magical light on his wings. It is a chance for a herd to survive. Will they use it, or will they depend only on themselves? No one can answer this question. But one thing is for sure - "Hope Dies Last"...

If you may think that the herd can escape through the back way, then you're wrong. It's not seen well, because there is a fallen tree, that blocks it.

This picture took me about 14-15h to complete. I really put in a lot of effort... I was trying my best! However, I've imagined it in a bit different way, but I didn't found suitable stocks to realize that idea. But I still like this one! And I'm happy about how it came out.
