Description

A piece by a Major City High School student, the third piece as submitted to the college board of her AP Studio Art Drawing Portfolio. Her concentration in her portfolio was the homeless.

She spoke of this homeless man briefly in her letter to the board, as one of the more open to model for her for whatever reason (though she did give him a few dollars and a hot dog to do so before he agreed). Circa 2006

Actually I had just found an initial attempt at drawing Ned "realistically" in the sketchbook (my desert island sketchbook, since it's where I'm drawing everthing), and it bothered me. So i took another crack at drawing Ned in a different style. Ned did used to be a good looking man, and he's become increasingly more "attractive" as I've continued drawing him for the comic, but once in a while I get annoyed with that thought and just want to go back to him being a slightly drunk, stinky, scruffy, dirty hobo.

So there you go.
