Description

This is a poster I designed for my musical alias: Phantom Energy! It's a complete photo manipulation using multiple layers of pictures of myself, to create a blur. I then erased the blur on key parts like the mask to make it stand out. I also put 3 copies of my mouth at the chest, all off centre to create the blur again. 3 blue butterflies I photographed in Alberta were used and masked in faintly to keep with the spectral theme. There is a creepy ghost version of me in the background to the left, and there is a grotesque up-close shot of the number one pest in Ontario: The common house centipede! YUM! Everything had to look surreal and ghostly, and the blue was chosen as it fits the chilling feel I wanted in the entire piece. Then finally, the name of my music project at the top left. In the event I ever use it, names and dates can be added.
