BECAUSE SPACE GUNS by CyberneticCupcake on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

I must be corrupted by the space core...

:iconkillitwithfire::iconspacecoreplz::iconsaysplz:SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA--

...because when I saw the new weapons for the Soldier, I yelled and screamed so joyfully I thought I was gonna be kicked out! ...of my own house...yeah...

Anyway, what's this malarkey?

This is a sketch of the Soldier from Team Fortress 2 dressed as Steve Zodiac of Fireball XL5. Yes, he's wielding the Righteous Bison, but though I may love space guns, I can't draw them for shrap!

Also, I just realized that the Soldier's anatomy is screwy: his arms are nearly the same length as his legs, and his torso's too damn long for my liking. I guess that's why I like drawing the Sniper a lot more due to his more reasonable proportions

and nice long legs

.

In addition, I was going to do a group picture of select TF2 characters as the main crew of the Fireball XL5...

⭐ Soldier Boy would obviously be good ol' Steve Zodiac, except with some alterations (which may or may not be pictured here) that show better his position in the Space Marines.
⭐ The Medic would be Dr. Venus, the

beautiful

doctor of space medicine. Not Fem!Medic or the Medic in drag with a blonde wig, but manly Medic with a slightly altered tunic to match, and maybe even blond-dyed hair.
⭐ The Engineer would be Prof. Matthew Matic, wearing a similar outfit to the Soldier, but with hair styled somewhere between Big Country and Professor's Peculiarity.
⭐ Robert the Robot would be a semi-anthropomorphic Sentry gun, or otherwise an android made in the same style as an Engineer's building. Like the Engineer's buildings, it has a tendency to

screw up

be felled by human error.
⭐ I was also half-considering the Scout as Zoonie the Lazoon, but while Zoonie is lazy and dopey, the Scout is fast, energetic... and just plain dumb. :giggle:
