Da--Revolution | DeviantArt (original) (raw)

1. Welcome to the official @Da--Revolution club, where you can share your thoughts and experiences with the administration and members of the DeviantArt community. You are also more than welcome to present your art and creativity here! This group is concerned with reformatting the site, showcasing our illustrators' genuine talent, and reporting major issues on this platform. Before you ask us anything, we recommend that you read our code of conduct. Please send us a note if you have any questions.

NOTE: We do not allow AI-generated artwork. Don't post this here. We have zero tolerance for artworks crafted by programs that steal art from others to generate new digital illustrations.

Please send your reports via notes.

Do not post your reports in the comments section!

2. NOTE: Members must have their accounts at least six months old on the platform before they can join our group. It is nothing special, but there have been several attempts to have people with empty accounts join our group. Even if your account is new, you can join the group if your gallery features genuine artwork (NOT AI-GENERATED ART!).

Allowed!

3. Folders related to stamps. Stamps about copyright violation, deviantART stupidity, anti-pedophilia, anti-pornography, and anti-Rule 34.

4. Folders related to digital illustrations, traditional art, ACEO cards, tribal tattoos, movies, animations, and other stuff. You can submit whatever you want. As long as it’s not stolen, we won’t stop you from doing that.

5. Folders related to tracking and reporting on main issues, such as pornography, pedophilia, cybersex, and other fundamental problems. Please post journal entries on this topic in related folders so that we can easily report them. Please submit the relevant literature, complaints, and other written submissions to separate folders.

NOT ALLOWED!

6. BLOCK ABUSERS! If you have a reason to block someone from harassing, trolling, or doing something cruel to you or your friends, go for it. If you're blocking just for fun or because someone massively saved your artwork, you're not welcome. Get out!

7. Politicians, the rabid fandom community, and politics.

Yes, they can sometimes—usually always—be stupid, but we don’t want to see you submit your written pieces or illustrations related to this matter. While we may love delving into these subjects, they’re not compatible with our mission at @DaRevolution. Please refrain from starting a discussion or injecting anything into these categories.

Go to @WeDontThinkSo, @Express-Your-Hatred, @DAPoliticalForumClub, @ControversyInc, @Anti-Illuminati-01, @AntiAllThings, and @Explicit-opinions for stuff like politicians, rabid fan communities, or both. If you want to express your opinions on politics and the fandom community, there are many groups out there. We are not one of them. Special thanks to @LoboTaker for mentioning the last two groups dedicated to this theme.

8. Stuff that creates more drama than help.

We won’t tolerate that; you have a profile where you can express your hysteria as much as you wish. Nobody will stop you from doing that. Please keep your useless drama away from our group. Thank you. Moreover, strive to be as repellent as possible, and your life will improve. That is all we ask of you.

9. Trolls. You’d think this is obvious, but it isn’t. Once it’s revealed that someone is an Internet troll, stop talking to them, stop mentioning them, and stop contacting them. Do you want to go back to DeviantART kindergarten to learn more? If you spot a troll, report it and move on! Yes, you can send reports about the trolls that you have discovered.

NOTE: Co-Leaders (Co-Founders) have the same job as the Founder; they only help moderate the entire group.

Co-Founder

Co-founders have the same jobs as founders, but they have some extra jobs that they can offer. Your co-founders are those who hide unnecessary comments, such as spam, troll, and complaint comments. They are also the ones who moderate what goes into the gallery and answer some of your notes.

10. Please keep in mind that administrators may not always respond to your comments or notes because we are all busy with other life commitments. Please be patient, and someone will arrive soon to answer your message.

11. We are not deviantART operators; we are just deviants seeking to protect the community. If you thought the silence was peaceful, you have yet to meet us. DeviantART is currently filled with obscene images of pedophiles, perverts, trolls, and more. Our goal is to help the moderators fix this problem by reporting deviations and users, and by helping reduce the number of such images and members of DeviantArt to make it a much friendlier place.

12. The group’s mission is to help administrators modernize the community by sending all complaints and issues that we encounter. We will also do our best to help the victims of DeviantART corruption raise their voices and share their experiences with the corrupt developers’ team. We would also like to share our opinions about this community.

The only thing they see is dark, but what they don't know is the darkness can see them too.

13. The primary purpose of this group is to encourage silent, anonymous reporting; nevertheless, we also aid in reporting when necessary.

14. We no longer support or endorse screenshots. DeviantART prohibits them; thus, it is not our fault. Unless it’s a tutorial or something helpful, we will allow it.

No stealing. If anyone is stealing work, please let us know.

15. Please show respect to our members and the administration in this group. No harassment of the group or other members; we do not allow trolling. I’m not in the mood to deal with douches who get themselves banned. I will not re-invite you; it makes us look foolish. We will remove all of your work from our gallery.

16. We will not tolerate publishing content that creates more drama than it helps.

17. We cannot report plagiarized art; we cannot. If you believe you must, please tell the original artist, not us.

18. If the gallery needs another folder, please specify the group and we will gladly add it.

19. NO PORNOGRAPHY. There is a difference between art and pornography. LEARN THAT!

20. We do not tolerate harassing ANY deviant for ANY reason; sometimes they genuinely don’t know what they have done wrong. Our oversight will include politely reporting their mistakes.

21. Please do not attempt to involve the group in personal fights with users. If we see your judgment dedicated to that, we will flag it as spam.

22. Please respect the reporting system and do not abuse it. Don't address everything that offends you and claim that it's worth reporting.

23. Review the How to Report a Violation tutorial.

24. DON'T FLOOD THE GROUP! Only new reports about pornographic artists or deviants are to be sent. We mark hateful comments about a group or its members as spam.

25. NO FLAMING OR ARGUING WITH OTHER MEMBERS! Do not start an argument with someone on the home page. If you feel that another member is out of line, note the group by sending the URL address of the malicious comment, and the group administrators will investigate the matter. Members found that starting an argument on the front page was blocked without warning.

26. If you have any problems, please note the group. This goes for everyone, members or not. Don't, I repeat, don't post hate comments or slander against the group on the front page. Don’t even do it in your journals. Do not complain about how we run the group on the front page—it will draw attention and encourage harassment.

27. We will hide reports related to harassment because third-party harassment reports are no longer valid. Blame Daniel for this, not us.

28. The official copyright website can keep you up-to-date with anything you need to know.

29. :lock: * A petition asking for art theft policy reform.

If this reaches two thousand signatures, we may well see a change in the way this website handles various cases of possible copyright infringement.

* The petition has been locked. It's no longer active.

30. This is a Tumblr page devoted to stopping theft! Another deviant asked @@Silent-enforcers in the community to have it here.

31. Artist confessions can be used to disclose popular art thieves anonymously so that their fans will not swarm your page with hateful messages. They also serve as a space for artists to reflect on themselves and one another.
