Description
Shot with a Canon 100mm + a 500D closeup filter + an 81A warming filter. 40D set to manual mode and I adjusted the shutter, aperture, and ISO to give me a meter reading that was -1 to -1 1/3 under exposed. I then set my MT-24EX to -1 1/3 FEC. Lots of experimenting to get to this image and a lot of wind, so I deleted a lot of frames...
This is a female Red Veined Darter.
