Sutekskäija means a female werewolf in Estonian(walks as a wolf) and is a creature from Estonian mythology.
The werewolves were usually young girls who had this as the only way of freedom after hard work during the day. Men could also do it but in very many cases they were youn women.
In our myths werewolves did not attack people if they didn't need to. it was a useful way of hunting in the fores so that the family would have fresh meat. We are a very practical nation
If you turned yourself into a wolf too often you would get some wolflike features.
