Steamroller Schematic
Illustrator CS3, 11X17

Assignment for Drawing For Graphics II. Develop a toy that is self powered without batteries. Draw up a schematic version, and a 3/4 color version. Could use traditional or computer methods. I chose to do it in Illustrator, as i am trying to learn this program.

And so i came up with a steamroller, that i just had to name “Stormroller,” which is powered with rubber bands in the rollers. My Dad used to make Quaker Oat cartons that would roll back to you if you rolled them away from you, and i used the same idea to power the Stormroller. All that is theoretical...we did not have to really build anything.
